“All the weather you need delivered to your toolbar”
by Nick Mead
There are tons of weather forecasters out there so why choose this one? Well, it's one of the most accurate I've used and also one of the most detailed - you get everything right down to the latest windspeed in some cases.
The heart of WeatherMan is the desktop window from where you can access all of WeatherMan's forecast data including current conditions, tomorrow's forecasts, and both boat & beach forecasts. It also includes quick access to radar and forecasts maps provided by The Weather Channel. Several detailed forecast are available in their own window or you can choose the single window view option. These include hourly forecasts, daily details, text details, extended and regional forecasts.
One particularly interesting feature is the option to view the Doppler radar of any selected location at any time which can give advanced warning of any unexpected weather conditions. Unusual for a weather forecaster, you can also customise the interface with a choice of colours and images to be used in the windows.
In summary, this is one of the most complete weather forecasters you'll find anywhere although the default setup is for the USA so if you're in Europe, you'll have to customise it more than you might like.
